Ministry of International Trade and Industry in Malaysia

          The Ministry of International Trade and Industry is in charge of identify the policies and direction to reach the target goals of International trade and Industries together with Malaysia'sassurance towards the United Nations'.

          It was establish in April 1956and located in the Government Office, Jalan Raya and renamed in the February of 1972. it was separeated to 2 ministries which are, Ministry of Inreanational Trade and Industry (MITI) and Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs ((KPDN).

          Its function is to plan, formulate and implement policies on industrial development, international trade and investment. Other than that, it is also to encourage foreign and domestic investment. Besides that, it can promote Malaysis's exports of manufacturing products and services by strenthening bilateral, multilateral and regional trade relations and cooperation. The last function, is to enhance national productivity and competitiveness in the manufacturing sector.

          The program that can be organized by the ministry is' Increase Ratings', increase the export rate of products and services. To increase the rate, the ministry have to improve the quality of products and services. With good quality of products and services, manufacturer of other contries will leave a good impression and they will continue to purchase our products and services. Next, the ministry have to come up with a strong strategy to build up a strong industry so that we can compare with the industry from other countries.
